Description
These fish tacos with slaw are packed with flavor and ready in under 30 minutes. The perfect balance of crispy, creamy, and fresh.
Ingredients
1 lb white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or mahi-mahi)
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup mayo or sour cream
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste
8 small corn tortillas
Instructions
1. Season the fish with chili powder, garlic powder, and salt.
2. Cook fish in a skillet over medium heat until flaky and golden.
3. Mix cabbage, mayo, lime juice, and salt to make the slaw.
4. Warm tortillas and assemble with fish and slaw.
5. Serve with lime wedges or sauce of choice.
Notes
You can substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter slaw.
Add avocado, pickled onions, or jalapeños for more flavor.
