These bbq beef brisket tacos are smoky, tender, and packed with bold flavor. Perfect for leftovers or special occasions, they deliver comfort in every bite.
Ingredients
2 pounds cooked beef brisket, sliced or shredded
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce (optional)
8 small flour or corn tortillas
1 cup coleslaw or shredded cabbage
1/4 cup pickled red onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup sour cream or chipotle mayo
1 lime, cut into wedges
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Warm the brisket in a skillet over medium-low heat with a splash of water or barbecue sauce.
2. Toast the tortillas in a dry skillet until warm and slightly crisp.
3. Place a generous portion of brisket into each tortilla.
4. Top with slaw, pickled onions, and fresh cilantro.
5. Add a drizzle of sour cream or chipotle mayo.
6. Squeeze fresh lime over each taco.
7. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper if desired.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
Use leftover smoked brisket or slow-cooked oven brisket.
